SRM's own entrance exam is the way into B.Tech and integrated M.Tech. Your All India Rank decides your programme, your campus and any rank-based scholarship.

Who can apply

  • Passed 12th, or sitting it in 2027, on any Indian board, CBSE, CISCE, IB or NIOS
  • At least 60% across Physics, Mathematics and one of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science, IT, Informatics Practices, AI, Engineering Graphics, Botany or Zoology
  • At least 16 years and 6 months old on 31 July of your 12th board exam year
  • NRI, PIO or OCI and not sitting SRMJEEE? Choose International above

Four steps

  1. Register

    Your name, email, mobile, state and gender, plus a password. Your email becomes your username.

  2. Fill in the form and pay online

    Keep a photo (200 × 230 px) and signature (140 × 60 px) ready. Save your application number.

  3. Sit SRMJEEE (UG)

    Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Aptitude, in one of the phases.

  4. Counselling

    Choose your programme and campus by All India Rank and seats left. The choice on the form is only for statistics.

Your rank can cut your tuition

For B.Tech, SRM gives rank-based scholarships from your SRMJEEE (UG) rank. First rank holders of every central and state board, the top 10,000 in IIT JEE, top rankers in each Tamil Nadu district and national-level sportspeople get direct admission and scholarships.

SRM lists 13 scholarship categories in all, including socio-economic, differently abled, defence, arts and culture, and alumni.
